Partnership with McDonough: Mayor Sandra Vincent was so impressed by our community spirit that she invited BABB to merge Koinonia En Blanc with the city's Bicentennial celebrations, bringing our "spirit of Blacksville" to all of McDonough.

Future Vision

Building sustainable resources for our community's continued growth

πŸ“šCommunity Bookstore

Our vision includes establishing a profit arm to support our organization through a community bookstore with a special focus on authors from the Blacksville community and across Henry County.

This bookstore will serve as both a business venture and a celebration of local literary talent.

πŸ“–Community Library

Inside the bookstore, we plan to have a Community Library offering a wide collection of books and resources, preserving and sharing knowledge about our community and Black history in Georgia.

A dedicated space for learning, research, and cultural preservation.

🏠Meeting & Reading Room

A small meeting and reading room will provide intimate space for community gatherings, book clubs, educational workshops, and quiet study time.

Creating opportunities for deeper community connection and learning.
